All references to “you” and “your” are deemed to refer to any user and/or visitor of www.pacificstorage.co.za (“Website“).

ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

The Company permits the use of this Website subject to the Terms and Conditions (“Terms and Conditions“). By using this Website in any way, you shall be deemed to have accepted all the Terms and Conditions unconditionally. You must not use this Website if you do not agree to the Terms and Conditions.

USE OF THE WEBSITE

  1. You agree that you will not use any device, software or other instrument to interfere or attempt to interfere with the proper working of this Website. In addition, you agree that you will not use any robot, spider, other automatic device, or manual process to monitor, copy, distribute or modify the Website or the information contained herein, without the prior written consent from an authorized Company representative (such consent is deemed given for standard search engine technology employed by Internet search websites to direct Internet users to this Website).

  5. Goods damaged in transit, notification must be made via a phone call on receipt of goods and not after. Please check and unpackage goods whilst the courier is still with you.

We respect your right to privacy and therefore aim to ensure that we comply with the legal requirement of the POPI Act which regulates the manner in which we collect, process, store, share and destroy any personal information which you have provided to us.

The Company reserves the right to update and/or amend the Terms and Conditions from time to time and without any notice, and you are accordingly encouraged to check the Website regularly. Any such change will only apply to your use of this Website after the change is displayed on this Website. If you use this Website after such updated or amended Terms and Conditions have been displayed on this Website, you will be deemed to have accepted such updates or amendments.

Availability and termination

  • We will use reasonable endeavors to maintain the availability of the Website, except during scheduled maintenance periods, and reserve the right to discontinue providing the Website or any part thereof with or without notice to you.
  • The Company may in its sole discretion terminate, suspend and modify this Website, with or without notice to you. You agree that the Company will not be liable to you in the event that it chooses to suspend, modify or terminate this Website.

Governing Law

  • These Terms and Conditions shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Your continued use of the Website will constitute your consent and submission to the jurisdiction of the South African courts regarding all proceedings, transactions, applications or the like instituted by either party against the other, arising from any of these Terms and Conditions.

Sales

  • Cash Sales – We accept card payments and bank transfers (EFT).
  • All bank transfers must reflect in our bank account before the goods will be released.

REFUND POLICY

How does your return policy work?

Should you receive any of our products in a damaged condition, we would, after inspection of said product, offer a refund. 

If you receive a faulty product, we will only credit or refund you if you return the faulty item. We would then have to inspect the product on its return before issuing a refund. Return of the product is for the client’s account.

What is the process for returning an order?

To return damaged products, or if you received the wrong order, simply email us at info@pacificstorage.co.za and we will assist you with returning your order to us. 

Is there a time limit for returning my order?

You can return any order within 7 days of receiving it.

When can I expect a refund or exchange?

We usually process the product within 1-2 working days of receiving it in our warehouse and it can take anywhere from 3-5 working days for your bank to process it.

SHIPPING POLICY

ORDER PROCESSING TIME

If not in stock, orders are made to order and are processed within 7 - 14 business days. Due to load shedding and supply chain issues, it may be longer.

Kindly note that no orders are processed or delivered on weekends or public holidays. In the event that we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days.

Please allow additional days in transit for delivery. If there will be a significant delay in delivery of your order, our team will contact you via email or telephone.

DELIVERY FEES

We charge a delivery fee on orders below R3000.

YOUR DELIVERY ADDRESS

Please ensure that you provide a valid South African delivery address along with your order. In the case that the courier delivers to an incorrect address any surcharges will be billed to your account.

DELIVERY CONFIRMATION AND ORDER TRACKING

You will receive a Delivery Confirmation email once your order has been dispatched containing your tracking number(s).

DELIVERY DELAYS

The courier company will contact you once your order has been collected from our warehouse. We will endeavor to deliver goods within the advised time periods, but delay in the delivery of goods is frequently in the hands of a third party and sometimes outside our control. Any dates we specify for the delivery of goods are approximations only and we shall not be liable for any losses, costs, damages, charges, or expenses caused by any delay in the delivery of the goods. Our failure to meet approximate delivery dates will not be grounds for you to cancel the sale. Some orders may be delivered in more than one drop. We will only deliver goods to the address on the order and goods will not be left without a signature. You are required to make all the necessary arrangements to take delivery of the goods whenever they are tendered for delivery. If you are not at home on the date that has been agreed and the delivery agent cannot contact you, we reserve the right to charge 10% of the purchase amount for the re-delivery.

DAMAGES

In case you receive a product with visible damage on the packaging please call or email us within 7 days and we will request the courier company to collect and replace the product. If you don’t notify us within 7 days, we will not be able to exchange or refund.

Many of our products are delivered flat packed and requires assembling, We take no responsibility for any damage to the goods or personal injury to you or anyone else may suffer during assembling.

DELIVERY OUTSIDE SOUTH AFRICA

Pacific Shelving & Storage currently does not deliver outside the Republic of South Africa.
